Thank you for choosing our ridesharing app. At DriveTogether, we are committed to providing you with a safe and transparent experience. We want to ensure that you are informed about how we handle your data and how you can request the deletion of your account if you wish to do so.

Account Deletion:

1. Open the DriveTogether app on your device.
2. Go to the dropdown menu in the navigation bar and look for the «Delete Account» option and click on it.
3. You will be asked to confirm your decision. Once confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted.

Deleted or Retained Data:

We want to be transparent about the data we delete and retain. After the deletion of your account, we immediately delete personally identifiable information associated with your profile. However, some data may be retained for additional periods for legal or security reasons.

Data we immediately delete includes your google Id, username, email and profile picture.

Some data, such as the last spot you parked your car will be save until another user from the app overwrites the current car location or all the members of the family delete their accounts.
